What is considered their best year yet, the 2014 Tea On The Lawn held on April 25 benefited New Danville. In its sixth year, this proper southern ladies luncheon, which was catered by Hubbell & Hudson attracted a record attendance of over 350 women to Shepard Hill Estates, a lovely venue located near New Danville in beautiful historic north Montgomery County.
The event helped raised over quarter million dollars for the New Danville; a master-planned community for adults with intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities. New Danville is the only community concept of its kind that offers an affordable, holistic approach to services by offering adult educational, skills training and life enriching activities, low-cost rental housing and job opportunities. It is a special place where they can live, learn, work and grow emotionally, socially and spiritually in a safe, caring environment.
