Ben Sassani meets with local chefs in the Houston area to chat and take pictures with them outside their restaurants and inside their personal kitchens for his Shoot My Chef series.
After hearing about an “amazing young chef in The Woodlands doing amazing things,” Ben made a reservation at Cureight where he met Chef Austin Simmons and discussed the opportunity for the shoot.
Wanting to do a shoot more fitting to Chef Simmons’ hobbies, they traded the kitchen for a fishing trip instead. The day was spent catching fish, talking food and getting to know each other better.
