The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase
An epicurean extravaganza with more than 10,000 participants each year, The Woodlands Wine & Food Week’s gastronomic grandeur features scores of events with more than 500 wines, 50 restaurants, legendary wine producers and culinary personalities.
This week long culinary event ended with the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase. The finale featured delectable cuisine from chefs representing more than 50 restaurants, including Hubbell & Hudson.
Executive Chef Austin Simmons was among the 50 local and national chefs competing for the Wine & Food Week’s Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs Award. While Pastry Chef Nguyet Nguyen competed in the “Just Desserts” contest, a confectionary competition to crown the night’s dessert extraordinaire.
